The new spotlight shows how farms are becoming regional energy suppliers today with smart concepts—flexible, economical, and sustainable. The focus is on the major levers: agri-PV, battery storage, and innovative wind and biogas concepts. Particularly exciting: the combination of biogas plants, PV, and storage is increasingly becoming the strategy of choice. Especially at locations with biogas, the existing infrastructure offers ideal conditions—from grid connection and flexible load profiles to the possibility of intelligently buffering and marketing surpluses.
